(Almost) Wordless Wednesday

I hadn't even known we needed one, or actually known they existed, but the cake baker said it was an absolute necessity that we 'rent a cake stand from our caterer' on which to properly place the wedding cakes.  Since no caterer, and not really liking the shiny and overly detailed examples she showed, Hubby stepped up and built one, and I have to show it off.
