Work that Isn't

We, of course, believe that it's good for the kids to participate and learn responsibility by doing chores around home.  --Not always the kids' favorite parenting theory.  


Some work, though, is just plain fun!!   

After excavating for our garage addition, the excavator also deepened a ditch we already had for drainage through the back yard.  He'd seen a young fan watching him work, so asked if Prince CuddleBunny might like to run the equipment and do the backyard ditch.


He caught on quickly and did a tremendous job.  Sort of like playing X-Box, but bigger and REAL.
