The first time, I went for flavor and economy...next time I'll be more careful. Thanks for the heads up on the Simply Heinz! There it was...right in the ketchup section, and I never noticed. :)RHome410https://www.blogger.com/profile/06622522477498428322noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3128682648587654542.post-65508494753256324882014-03-19T10:00:42.494-07:002014-03-19T10:00:42.494-07:00This reminds me of the old CocaCola and Jack Danie...This reminds me of the old CocaCola and Jack Daniels spare rib recipes.

I have a from-scratch ketchup based North Carolina bbq sauce that's easy to make and has no high fructose corn syrup. It's tangy and slightly spicy. Can't help with the BBQ sauce or the root beer, since they both have ingredients that can be wheat-based (caramel color, modified food starch, natural flavor, and natural smoke flavor) and we can't do those here. I make my own BBQ sauce, and we just don't do soda any more. :\Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17003115405121246765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3128682648587654542.post-52123087389816528192014-02-26T04:31:28.743-08:002014-02-26T04:31:28.743-08:00Ok now this is something I love!

Now I am wondering if this is something I need to check out.
Our fave pork?
Uh, well- I toss in some onion of course and bell pepper if we have it - always some garlic! Then I sprinkle with cayenne , cumin, and paprika.
After pulling the pork apart we make wraps with tortillas and all our favorite toppings. My personal fave is avocado with a little lemon and a pinch is sea salt over it, leafy lettuce and a dollop of sour cream!
So many ways to eat pulled pork!
Of course-- we do like pizza too. Though I've never tried to make it at home- and don't think I could hold a candle to your pizza experience! ;)
PatPatricia @ 9th and Denverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04786692442689958889noreply@blogger.com
