Our first cake tasting did not turn out well. Mediocre cake and frosting none of us liked. When kids won't eat the frosting, it's time to move on! |
- Wedding cake bakery, and with it, cake flavor and style
- Possibly their number of attendants, which will mean a new bridesmaid dress hunt
New inspiration cake design from the chosen bakery: Corina Bakery Delicious, made-from-scratch cakes with tasty filling and frosting ...and affordable! :-D |
Princess Bossy's and Prince Helium's changes so far:
- Wedding ceremony venue (reception will still be at original choice)
- Bakery cake (instead of DIY) with actual bakery and flavor yet to be determined
- Wedding gown details...Simpler is better, anyway
- Bridesmaid color scheme (the teal and navy combination is in, all navy is out)
- Invitations. The glossy paper didn't work with a laser printer any better than with our inkjet.
New ceremony site... Who couldn't love this 1878 chapel? And we get to ring the bells! PortGambleweddings.com |
It can be a bit to keep up with, especially times 2, but it doesn't really bother me. They've never done this before, of course, and plans evolve and are only getting better.
Princess Bossy was thrilled to preview their engagement photos last week, and she also finished her invitations. Princess Sassy and Prince Steadfast are excited about their engagement photo session with Mode Weddings this week, and our goal in the next few days is to get their invitations printed and addressed, too.
