Blessing in Disguise

In case I was tempted to feel like I was on my own in my struggles...
Today I started to print Princess Sassy's invitations.  When I did the template and test runs a few weeks ago, it all went smoothly, but for a tiny bit of adjustment to perfect the centering.  But today, the printer kept trying to eat the paper...It just wouldn't feed right.  Over and over again.  Then it let one through, but the first few lines were off the top of the page.
Then I noticed it.
I was beginning to print cards that invited people to a "reciption"...not "reception."  YIKES!
I do believe Someone was watching out for me...Caring that this project goes well, and caring that the bride didn't have that extra and unnecessary stress of catching it after most or all had been printed...Or worse yet, sending out her formal invitations with a giant misspelling.
An 11th item to add to my thankful list!

And that's when you know that He is looking out for you. I'm sure you'd have been able to handle it either way, but it's nice that you didn't have to find out after all the invitations were printed or sent.

How relieved you must have been when you caught the typo! That would've made me crazy if I'd printed them all with a mistake. God is faithful, all the time. Sounds like your wedding plans are coming together. I can't imagine planning two weddings at the same time. But how fun for your family to have such exciting celebrations coming up. Have a wonderful week!

You are blessed. Proof reading is hard because we see what we are thinking rather than seeing what is written. Hang in there, all will go well. You will have wonderful wedding memories.

Wow...I've been on an internet hiatus (of sorts) for the past few busy weeks. You are putting me to shame! I cannot believe all you have going on. Super. Woman.

I love seeing all these wedding posts.

When you are done with the experience you should seriously write a book on home-grown wedding planning. Seriously!

If I were you, I would start contacting some typical wedding type companies (Lenox, David's Bridal, Michael's, etc) to try and get some giveaways going.

I hear that on the $$$ front. I'm hoping that after 4 years blogging, I can start making my blog a little profitable. But it's all up to the man upstairs (note: we live in a single story house).

XOXOXO
Believe me, your hiatus is giving me ideas... I'm feeling so stressed over the past week or so. I have things I might be able to write about, but no time to sit to concentrate. I let up on the pressure I put on myself to write everyday when it became impossible, and now a couple times a week seems too much to ask!
