Big Things in Small Spaces: Newlywed Nest

While Prince Steadfast is hard at work at school, in between her 2 jobs, Princess Sassy has 
been hard at work at home, creating a nice home for them in their little room.  



They're living in the room that was intended to be our library.  First it was Princess Bossy's bedroom, then Princess Sassy's, and now their 'apartment.'  




It is a small space, meant only as a quiet little get away place full of books, a couple of comfy chairs, and maybe some desk space.  This is a rendering of what it might look like that I did several years ago now:

It helps that for Princess Bossy we built the bed into the alcove.  This leaves the larger area with a little flexibility.  But I never imagined that with a bit of used furnishings and a way-too-big-but-free TV that it could become a dressing area, living room/home theater, and office!   I'm proud of and impressed with the nice nest she's created and thought I'd share. I hope these pics do it justice, because it really is quite cozy and attractive:
