(Almost) Wordless Wednesday

Spawning salmon can be
pretty gruesome looking.

Coho are the smallest, so
this scale is not correct.

The chum are running, so in addition to his own long-distance running, Prince Go-for-It has been dying to get his line in the water.  


The hope is to also catch some Coho and Chinook salmon, but the chum are more plentiful coming up the creek near us. 

The prince has developed his own favorite recipe for the brine and knows how to smoke them, as that's all the fish are good for that he'll be catching.

We're all looking forward to eating his results!
