(Almost) Wordless Wednesday

My desktop has looked something like this for the last 2 weeks, while choosing lighting fixtures for my in-laws' house (and sinks, too):

I get a little nuts about choosing 'just the right thing.' But what is 'just the right thing' when you're representing 7 other people and guessing what potential buyers will like? It's an impossible task made more difficult by budget, and the apparent varying availability of certain fixtures.... Had one set all picked out, then one of the fixtures was discontinued and I had to start over... Selected certain fixtures listed as 'in stock' on their description pages that then showed 'out of stock' in the cart. Grr.
But all is ordered now, and it's a great relief.

LOL...Just noticed that the main selections I ended up with don't even show here! I did order a couple of the 2-light bars at the top right for the master bath.

Tell me...How did this new comment thing treat you? It was supposed to reference the latest post on your blog when you comment, like on Sabjimata's comments...Did it not have that option when you posted?

I think I'm ready for your party tomorrow. :-)

I was hoping this would help with the posting issues you and others have had.

But it's seems kind of awkward and bulky looking. Sabjimata's doesn't seem that way to me. Maybe the difference between Blogger and WordPress versions?

I didn't have any trouble posting the comment. It's funny, though, because the "last post" that it grabs is never my last post. I actually have trouble with Sabjimata's, because I have to type in my site name there, instead of being able to right click and paste into that box. And my site name is enormously long.

At least I figured out how to get it to link the 'last post.' I've noticed it doesn't always grab my last post, either...But is an older one better than nothing? If you don't feel it's advantageous to you (and other bloggers), there is no reason to have it do that.

Just getting used to it. Like right now when I started my comment, it automatically put in the first line from the comment I posted last. That's not a help, so don't know why it does that. But now I see to check out your latest post, "Kitchen shelf love," so that's good! And hopefully, others will go to read it, too.
