Sneak Peek- The In-Laws' Kitchen Remodel








A very small peek, because Hubby only took these 2 pics, but he comes home every time, proclaiming the colors are all looking great together.  He's a good cheerleader.  :-)                                                                                 












So far the Kohler Vault sink, of which you see a tiny corner in the photo to the right, gets raves from whomever sees it.                                                                                                                                                                                  
Rumor has it the appliances may go in this weekend, and more of the kitchen should be finished for better pics next week.

Now my assignment is to choose cabinet hardware... Don't want to spend a lot, but want something that will add the right zingy bling to the room. Don't want to cheap out, and know what an impact hardware can have. At the same time, as long as there are pulls, that may be all that matters for resale...

Looks so good! I love the countertops. You should be proud of all the family (you included!) has done to improve this kitchen. As far as hardware goes, if you choose one with a standard (whatever that is) spread, the new homeowner can change them easily.

The standard spread...the they-might-want-to-change-it thing... is what helped me decide today to make all of the pulls the same size, when I was considering smaller ones for smaller drawers. Good thought.

Unfortunately, I don't have the time to wait for Horton to give me hardware. :-) DH wants it ASAP.

That kitchen is looking great. Love the sink. You folks have done a great job and someone will be very lucky to get the house.
