(Almost) Wordless Wednesday

Getting worse before it gets better...  


The excavator is coming next week to prep the ground for our new garage addition.  To clear the way, our beautiful end porch had to go, and all the wonderful detailing painstakingly constructed by Hubby and Prince Stoic with it...  The roof will stay and cover a section of the passage between house and garage.










Prince CuddleBunny is now more interested in using this exit
than ever before!

Yay for the great big digger that's coming! Your permits must have come in. Sad to see that beautiful porch go, but I'm excited to see the new space take shape. Thanks for sharing.

Excavation may start before the permit, so we're trying to be ready to hit the ground running, forming up the footings, when it comes in.
