Twosome Tuesday: I suppose you want photos?

Wedding #2 is complete!  A VERY joyful day.  An amazing group of family and friends to surround the couple and celebrate their day.

I have NO energy left, but here are some pictures from the last two days.  I don't have as many as from Wedding #1, but here's what I have to share:

Wedding favors: One of the groom's favorite treats.
"Stroopwaffel" imported from Holland,
the native country of the groom's parents

Making wedding bouquets and boutonnieres.

4 hands are sometimes better than 2!

The hair-styling train...And the bride, keeping
control over the reception site set-up via cell phone

New big brother, Prince Steadfast, solves
Prince CuddleBunny's tie issues

Our 2 beautiful brides, and best friends

Beautiful brides...You must be so proud and pleased! The exhausting summer was worth a lifetime of wonderful memories. Congratulations!

The cake is gorgeous, and I love the colors, flowers, table centerpieces well, everything. :-)

Truly beautiful. I am so glad for you all. We lived in Holland and love stroop waffels !
Congratulations to the Princess and the rest of your family. The photo of her in the doorway looking back is just beautiful. And that cake looks yummy! Did I miss what flavors she chose?

Top 2 layers were chocolate with espresso filling and espresso poured over the cake. The bottom layer was orange cake with chocolate ganache filling.
Congratulations! I wonder, after all the work that went into the weddings, are you feeling relieved or let down that it's all over?

I don't think I know yet. I'm still in "I could take a week-long nap" mode. There is still so much to be done. The most recent newlyweds are here today (Wed) packing for their trip back to Oklahoma. We still have wedding decorations to be cleaned up, organized, and dealt with somehow. So it's all kind of dreary, mundane tasks remaining, which without the fun and the weddings to look forward to, are a bit of a let-down, I suppose. But we're looking toward fall now...with a new homeschooling year, 2 kids attending public school part-time for the first time, fall sports for hubby and 2 kids, and starting to build the garage addition. So not much time to sit back and feel either bad or relieved!

Wow! Too cool! Who knew that you could do this with a lathe? And what a great idea for groomsman's gift- the fact that it was handmade by the groom makes it very special. Where do you buy the pencil components? Btw, when do we get a see a photo of the newly wedded couple?!

Hubby orders the pen parts from a woodcrafting catalog...I'm not sure which one.

The official wedding photos won't be available for 3 (long) weeks... And I wasn't able to get any of my own with my camera. :-(

Beautiful pics! The brides gown is absolutely stunning! House sold - check. Wedding one - check. Wedding two - check. Now go pamper yourself. ;-)
