A Bit of a Break

Thanks to Princess Sassy and Prince Steadfast, Hubby and I had a "Thank You" night away at Alderbrook Resort this week.  They came out to join us for dinner that evening, and a walk on the dock in the moonlight... They love us.  :-D






















































The day we left, they recommended we go a little farther down Hood Canal and do the Lower Lena Trail hike... They love us not?!  :-o  


Just kidding, of course!  But it was more than just a leisurely scenic walk for this old mom.  I will write more on that tomorrow, if I can still move!

What a beautiful resort! It sounds like such a fun time. And get out of here with the too old bit - you look to be in phenomenal shape. Thanks for sharing.

Gorgeous views~lake and forrest~ were worth the effort. About 15 years ago, we went to the Rockies on holiday. We, too, thought it was going to be just a little hike. We took no food or water with us. Many hours later we were finally back to the car, exhausted and starving. Subway never looked so good. Lesson learned, we took food, water and rain gear the next day.
