In-Laws' House: SOLD

The house went on the market Thursday and had a full-price, cash offer by the end of that day.  Praise the Lord!  This is not a market in which things like that happen often....Ever?!  It should be a quick process and off our shoulders soon.  I'm happiest for #1 BIL, who has the financial and administrative responsibilities.

WOOO HOOOO indeed. Wow and so fabulous!! But no wonder. You guys fixed it up to a farethewell and people want places that are done and in great condition today, I think. Ours didn't sell that quickly but it's sure nice to see hard work pay off. This must be a huge relief for all of you. Congrats 3 fold! Jane F.

Congratulations! I think this shows the benefit of all your hard work and detailed care. Such a quick offer usually means that the people have been looking and know what's right when they see it--so I hope that leads to an easy escrow. But it also means that they don't have any qualms and aren't put off by anything they perceive will need doing. All the details you pored over, from the not quite right wall paint to the location for the microwave, have paid off. Best wishes for a quick and easy closing.

The agent did say the buyer had been looking for several months. The sale is supposed to close by the 26th! As long as the inspection doesn't turn up any surprises, we're done here...and happy.
