(Almost) Wordless Wednesday

I was out in the yard watching garage progress, when I noticed... Beauty and the Beast.  Just a funny, happenstance juxtaposition of 2 such unlike things!
That poor little rose bush has been struggling
to maintain its spot and keep on blooming
where it stood at the entry to a little orchard,
in the pre-house-building years.

Your rose bush looks like it's surviving all the goings on at your house, Elaine. It's very pretty! I enjoyed reading your wedding comments. I always think I can do things myself when often I really should ask for help. I cannot imagine the work involved in two back-to-back weddings!
